This course is an introduction to the tools and programming environments for data analysis. Students will gain knowledge and experience in working with scientific data in different stages of the data analytics pipeline.

Working in the UNIX command line environment.
Version control with git
Working with data in Python
Numeric data analysis with Numpy
Structured data analysis with Pandas
Report generation and visualization
